Cristina’s New Home

Guatemala

In the heart of El Rejon, Sumpango, a story of resilience and hope is unfolding. Here, we find Cristina, a single mother, and her three children, Luis (12), Sofia (6), and Mateo (5). Every day, Cristina faces the challenges of single parenthood with unwavering strength and dedication. Her love and tenacity create a warm, nurturing environment for her young family, despite their limited resources.

Cristina and her children have been living in a small, makeshift shelter, dreaming of a stable and secure home. This dream is now becoming a reality. Thanks to the support of The 141 Project and the generous donation facilitated by Stonewood, LLC, Cristina’s family is embarking on a life-changing journey. They are currently building their very own cinder block home, a significant step towards a safer and more stable life.

This new home represents more than just a physical structure; it is a beacon of security, stability, and renewed hope. It marks the beginning of a brighter future for Cristina and her children, a future where they can grow, dream, and thrive.

At Stonewood, we believe in the power of community and the impact of shared blessings. Cristina’s story is a testament to this belief, and we are honored to play a part in making her dream a reality.

This donation was made to honor the Reed family and welcome to their new home.
